In memory of Patrick Allen Melvin, who passed away from complications of Wilson's at the age of 35, we walk to rise awareness of Wilson Disease and money for Wilson Disease Association.

About Wilson Disease
Wilson Disease is a rare genetic disorder in which the body can't break down copper. Therefore when the person eats water or eats common foods their body begins to experience heavy metal poisoning. This disease is always fatal if not found and treated early. Given how rare it ism it is very difficult to diagnose.
